Cassandre is 26 and works as a flight attendant for a budget airline out of Lanzarote. Then a sudden blow knocks her off course and sends her back home, to everything she'd been flying away from.
The film rests on Exarchopoulos's face — her Cassandre rarely performs for anyone, which is exactly why she rings true. The directors shoot in a loose, near-documentary style that catches the fatigue of cheap flights and the loneliness of a crowd.
