At first Katya is sure Sergius is unhinged. Soon they are forced to team up: he knows how the old creatures think, she knows how to run an investigation.

Roman Mayakin and Lukerya Ilyashenko lead the pair, with veteran Irina Rozanova rounding out the cast. Director Kirill Kuzin folds Russian mythology into a buddy-detective format where every villain comes from a bedtime story your grandmother used to tell.
