To settle the argument they go digging into her past, and somewhere along the way the two fall for each other.

Waters, who also made Mean Girls, builds a light love story from Marc Levy's novel "If Only It Were True." The tagline promises "a wonderful afterlife," and the film keeps things warm without turning maudlin. Ninety-five minutes, real chemistry between the leads, and a twist that actually pays off.
