Synopsis
Coming Soon (โปรแกรมหน้า วิญญาณอาฆาต, 2008) is a Thai horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Cinema workers stumble onto a disturbing reel in which a mob lynches a woman. Once they've seen it, the dread on screen refuses to stay on screen — and starts hunting them down.
The wall between the auditorium and real life keeps crumbling. The dead woman from the film-within-the-film steps out of the frame and comes for everyone who watched her die. Long black hair, the dark corridors of an empty movie house, a premiere that should never have gone ahead — director Sophon Sakdaphisit leans on the classic Asian vengeful-ghost fear, then twists it into a story about cinema itself as a cursed object.
Sakdaphisit co-wrote Shutter and Alfabet, so he knows this terrain well. It runs a lean eighty-three minutes of steady, unrelenting fright, aimed squarely at fans of Thai and Japanese horror about wronged female spirits.
