The Witch in the Window

Simon is coming off a divorce and wants one good summer with his twelve-year-old, Finn — flip the house, sell it, start over. But the previous owner, Lydia, never really left. Her spirit grows steadier with every board they nail and every wire they fix, so the cleaner and brighter the place gets, the closer the thing inside it creeps.

Mitton leans on slow, creeping unease rather than jump scares, and on a real bond between father and son that holds the tension tighter than any ghost could.
