House

House (2008) is a claustrophobic horror you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Robby Henson. Two couples take a wrong turn onto a backroad and wind up stranded at an isolated house. One pair is running from a broken-down car; the other from a man who has been hunting them.

The hosts welcome them in, and then the rules arrive — slipped under the door by a figure called the Tin Man. One body by sunup, or nobody leaves. Adapted from the novel by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti, the story buries a blunt morality play under the gore. Michael Madsen, Lance Henriksen and Bill Moseley round out the cast, faces any nineties-horror fan will clock at once. It is a small film that trades scale for four walls and a very long night.
