Bad Ass

Bad Ass (2012) is an American action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Craig Moss and starring Danny Trejo alongside Charles S. Dutton and Ron Perlman. Vietnam vet Frank Vega spent forty years getting nothing back from the country he served — no steady job, no recognition. Then a clip of him fighting off a pair of thugs on a city bus goes viral and makes him a minor folk hero overnight.

It does not last. The gang he crossed retaliates by killing his closest friend, and the local police make clear they have no interest in the case. Frank goes looking for answers himself, with a baseball bat and very little patience, and finds that the corruption runs deeper than one street-level gang. Trejo carries the film on face value alone — he does not need to explain that his character is dangerous, and that saves the movie a lot of dialogue.
