Synopsis

Dead Presidents (1995) is a crime drama from directors Albert and Allen Hughes you can watch online on iFILM. On the street, dead presidents means cash — faces of former leaders printed on bills. That's exactly what Anthony Curtis is after. Played by Larenz Tate, Anthony comes back from Vietnam to the Bronx and finds that surviving the war earned him nothing.

There's no work, no money, and no clear way forward. Some of his old crew — including Keith David and Chris Tucker — are in the same hole. Together they identify a target: an armored truck carrying bales of outdated currency scheduled for destruction. One job, and the debt disappears. The planning looks solid. The night itself does not go to plan.

The Hughes Brothers shot this right after Menace II Society. The film cuts between brutal Vietnam sequences and the dead-end streets of mid-70s New York, building the logic of a heist that was probably always doomed. Stream Dead Presidents (1995) in full on iFILM.
