Dungeons & Dragons (2000) is a fantasy adventure you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Courtney Solomon and adapted from the famous tabletop role-playing game. In the empire of Izmer, magic-wielding mages hold all the power while ordinary people have none.

Young Empress Savina (Thora Birch) wants to level the playing field, but the scheming sorcerer Profion (Jeremy Irons) means to dethrone her and seize the rod that commands the gold dragons. To stop him, a thrown-together party gets pulled in — a pair of small-time thieves, an elf tracker and a dwarf. Their job: recover an amulet that controls the red dragons, surviving traps, undead and dungeons along the way.

This is the tabletop spirit beamed straight to the screen — a quest, a mismatched crew, a closing clash of dragon armies. The main event is Jeremy Irons, chewing scenery as the villain with such glee that the film has long survived as a so-bad-it's-good cult pick.
