The Ones Below

The Ones Below (2016) is a British psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM. An expecting couple living in a London flat meet their new downstairs neighbors — Jon and Teresa, also waiting for a baby. The four get along well, right up until a dinner party ends in an accident that fractures the relationship beyond repair.

Clémence Poésy and Stephen Campbell Moore play the upstairs couple, slowly convinced that something is off about Teresa (Laura Birn) and her controlled, polished husband Jon (David Morrissey). Writer-director David Farr keeps the runtime to 86 minutes and wastes none of them: the film escalates in small increments, letting paranoia accumulate rather than announcing itself.
