About

Synopsis

Look Who's Talking (1989) is Amy Heckerling's romantic comedy, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Accountant Mollie gets pregnant by her married lover, ends up alone, and heads to the hospital in a cab.

The driver is James (John Travolta), who gets Mollie (Kirstie Alley) to the delivery room and then sticks around as an unpaid babysitter for little Mikey. Mollie spends her days auditioning men for the role of a "proper" father, never noticing the one already standing in her kitchen. The twist: Mikey thinks and snarks about all of it in the voice of Bruce Willis, long before he can say a real word out loud. The baby sees straight through the grown-ups and roasts every dumb thing they do.

That newborn voice-over became a gimmick dozens of films and commercials would copy for years. Heckerling's comedy pulled in hundreds of millions and kicked off a whole franchise of sequels. Stream Look Who's Talking (1989) online on iFILM.
