Synopsis
Man-eating sheep. That is the whole pitch. Black Sheep (2006) is Jonathan King's New Zealand horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM — blood, guts, gene splicing, and forty million furious sheep loose on one small island.
Henry has been terrified of sheep since childhood and comes back to the family farm for a single day, just long enough to sell his stake to his older brother Angus. What he does not know is that Angus has been running reckless genetic experiments out back. When a pair of well-meaning environmentalists set a mutated lamb free, the docile flock turns into a fanged, flesh-hungry swarm whose bite also infects the humans it doesn't finish off. From there Henry, farmhand Tucker, and a visiting activist named Experience fight back with whatever they can grab.
It plays in the spirit of early Peter Jackson — same Kiwi effects shops, same gleeful, straight-faced splatter. Don't come looking for logic; come for a crowd, a bowl of popcorn, and the sheer inventive silliness of how everyone gets dispatched. Stream Black Sheep (2006) online on iFILM.
