Synopsis
Color Out of Space (2020) is a sci-fi horror film you can watch online on iFILM. The Gardner family trades city life for an isolated New England farm, and one night a meteorite splits open in their front yard.
The rock sinks into the soil but leaves behind a shade no one can name. Well water tastes wrong, plants swell with sick brightness, and the hours stop behaving. Nicolas Cage plays father Nathan as a man slowly losing his grip, alongside Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur and Tommy Chong. The longer the contamination spreads, the less of each person is left and the more belongs to something else.
Director Richard Stanley returned to feature filmmaking after decades away with this loose take on H. P. Lovecraft's 1927 short story, swapping conventional monsters for pulsing neon light and rotting flesh. The production pulled together the US, Portugal and Malaysia.
