Buried under the wasteland is a power that could rescue humanity or finish it off. A crew led by the headstrong Obi Washington drops down to the ruined planet and falls into the Hollow Earth, ruled by the Vril, an ancient shape-shifting reptilian race with an army of dinosaurs at their command. Along the way the movie hands you a resurrected Hitler riding a T-rex and a lineup of other dictators, fully aware of how silly that sounds. Finnish director Timo Vuorensola again refuses to play it straight: 92 minutes of trashy, gleeful spectacle aimed squarely at viewers who loved the absurdity of the original Iron Sky.
