Captain America

Captain America (1990) is Albert Pyun's low-budget comic-book actioner you can watch online on iFILM. During World War II, Italian fascists engineer a superhuman called the Red Skull. A scientist who flees their lab, Dr. Maria Vaselli, carries the research to America, and the Allies get their own answer: Captain America.

Steve Rogers (Matt Salinger) stops a rocket aimed at the White House, but the Red Skull straps him to it and he ends up frozen in Arctic ice. Thawed out in the 1990s, Steve wakes to a country that buried him decades ago and learns his old enemy has surgically changed his face and is now plotting to kidnap the President of the United States. A dead friend's daughter and the President himself — who saw the hero as a boy — end up at his side.

Made on pocket change, with a rubber suit and prosthetic ears on the villain, the film was shelved and dumped straight to video.
