Synopsis
Amityville: The Awakening (2017) is a horror film with Bella Thorne that you can watch online on iFILM. A single mother moves her three kids into a cheap house to afford care for her comatose son James, and keeps quiet about the bloody reputation that comes with the address.
Eldest daughter Belle is the first to notice things slipping. James starts recovering — inexplicably fast, as if something is trading him strength for a price. The dark stirs at night, classmates recognize the house and recount the legend of the murders committed there long ago. The deeper Belle digs, the clearer it gets that her mother left out most of the story. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Cameron Monaghan and McKenna Grace fill out the cast.
Directed by Franck Khalfoun, the script leans on a clever twist: the Amityville franchise exists inside the story, with characters watching the old films about their own home.
