Synopsis

The Satanists steal the Shroud of Turin to harvest the DNA of Christ and grow a clone meant as an offering to the devil himself. They abduct a young American woman, Laura, to carry the child to term. Her unlikely defender turns out to be the Archangel Michael, who descends to earth to break the ritual before it can finish. Alice Orr-Ewing, Joe Doyle, and Peter Mensah lead a story that lurches between sterile lab corridors and an ancient cathedral.
The picture blends religious thriller, demons, and gene science with surprisingly heavy effects for its modest budget. The tone stays straight-faced, occasionally tipping toward camp, yet that mash-up of the Vatican, biotech, and the pit is exactly what makes it an oddly watchable genre hybrid.
