Johnny Blaze made a deal with the devil as a teenager to save his father's life. The bill came due. Every night at sundown his skull bursts into flame and he becomes the Ghost Rider — a spirit of vengeance tearing through city streets on a burning motorcycle, punishing those who escaped earthly justice. For years he lived with it. Then Blackheart (Wes Bentley), Mephisto's own son, surfaces with a plan to build a new hell on earth, and suddenly the Ghost Rider is the only thing standing in the way. Carter Slade (Sam Elliott), the last of an older line of riders, gives him what little guidance he can.
