Bait

Bait (2012), released as Tsunami 3D in some markets, is an Australian shark horror movie you can watch online on iFILM. Director Kimble Rendall traps a handful of strangers inside a flooded coastal supermarket.

It starts as an ordinary morning of shoppers, a robbery, and petty arguments. Then a freak tsunami slams the town and fills the store waist-deep in seawater. Getting out would be hard enough, except a great white shark, roughly twelve feet long, is now circling the aisles and guarding the only way up. Josh, played by Xavier Samuel and still haunted by a friend's death years earlier, ends up stuck beside his ex Tina while the survivors hunt for an escape that doesn't turn them into chum.

This is an honest B-movie that knows exactly what it is: cramped quarters, chest-high cold water, and teeth in the frame. The cast also includes Sharni Vinson, Phoebe Tonkin and Julian McMahon. If a lean creature feature is your idea of a fun night, it delivers. Stream Bait (2012) online on iFILM.
