Synopsis
Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs (2008) is an animated feature directed by Peter Avanzino that you can watch online on iFILM. The second of four movies based on Matt Groening's cult series picks up the instant Bender's Big Score left off.
A tear in space-time hangs over Earth, and through it reaches a planet-sized creature from a neighboring universe, all tentacles and hunger. It takes control of Fry and installs him as the Pope of a new worldwide religion, after which humanity abandons the planet to the robots. Bender, meanwhile, joins the League of Robots and starts his own uprising against mankind. Billy West, John DiMaggio and Katey Sagal carry the voice work, with Stephen Hawking turning up to play himself.
It's a gooey, deliberately absurd entry built around a romance whose love interest is an interdimensional monster, so the humor runs strange and won't suit everyone.
