The military runs a classified test meant to hide a warship from enemy radar. The experiment misfires, the ship vanishes, and seamen David and Jim are thrown into a world four decades ahead — no papers, no answers, and a rift that keeps trying to drag them back. Michael Paré plays David, scrambling to make sense of a future that isn't his, while Nancy Allen is the woman who chooses to believe his impossible story.

The film spins off the old naval legend of a 1943 cloaking test, but it never pretends to be a documentary. At heart it's an adventure about a man out of his own time, racing the clock to get home.
