About

Synopsis

Lucy (2014) is Luc Besson's sci-fi action film you can watch online on iFILM. Scarlett Johansson leads, with Morgan Freeman and Choi Min-sik alongside her.

A student in Taipei is tricked into carrying a briefcase and wakes up as a drug mule, a packet of a new synthetic compound stitched into her abdomen. A beating ruptures the bag, the substance floods her system, and her brain starts running at levels no person should reach. Pain goes first, then fear, then most of what made her human. Lucy reads radio signals, rewinds time in a room with a flick of her hand, and hunts the men who used her as a test subject. Freeman's Professor Norman scrambles to explain what is happening to her body and mind.

Besson runs the whole thing as a countdown: a percentage climbs from ten toward a hundred, and every jump rewrites the rules. Eighty-nine minutes with barely a breath, car chases through Paris and an ending that sails clean past logic. Stream Lucy (2014) online on iFILM.
