Synopsis
Where to Invade Next (2015) is the Michael Moore documentary comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Armed with a camera and an American flag, Moore "invades" one European country after another — not for oil, but to steal their best ideas and bring them home.
Italy hands workers weeks of paid vacation. A French school feeds kids gourmet lunches on plain plates. Finland scrapped homework and climbed to the top of the world in education. Germany teaches its own dark history instead of hiding it, and Iceland actually jailed the bankers who wrecked the economy. Moore wanders in, asks blunt questions, looks genuinely amazed, and plants his flag on each "conquered" idea.
The punchline lands slowly: most of what he finds abroad was invented in America first. He stays sharp and mischievous, but this is a warmer Moore than the angry agitator of his early films — closer to hopeful than furious.
