About

Synopsis

Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007) is a family comedy from Universal Pictures and Working Title Films — watch online on iFILM. Rowan Atkinson returns as the wordless, disaster-prone Mr. Bean, directed by Steve Bendelack.

Bean wins a raffle ticket to Cannes. One train, one connection. Easy. At the Gare du Nord he manages to get a small Russian boy named Stepan onto a departing train without his father, and finds himself on the platform holding a camcorder and a child who speaks no English. The rest of the film is their journey south through France: missed connections, impromptu street performances, a chance meeting with aspiring actress Sabine (Emma de Caunes), and a collision with pompous film director Carson Clay, played by Willem Dafoe. Bean records every misadventure on his amateur video camera, which eventually ends up on a screen at the Cannes Film Festival itself.

Made for $25 million, the film earned over $230 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Bean productions. The comedy runs entirely on physical gags and expression — almost no words required. Watch Mr. Bean's Holiday in full online on iFILM.
