Tafiti: Across the Desert

Tafiti: Across the Desert (2025) is a German animated family film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Nina Wels and Little Dream Entertainment (co-produced with Tradewind Pictures and Red Parrot Studios) deliver an 81-minute desert adventure voiced in English by Cosima Henman as the young meerkat Tafiti and Steve Hudson as Bristles, a clumsy, talkative bush pig. Tafiti has grown up hearing one rule from his grandfather: stay with your own kind, never trust outsiders.

Then Bristles shows up and turns everything upside down. When grandfather is bitten by a venomous snake, the only known cure is a rare blue flower that nobody has ever actually seen — it exists mostly in old stories. Tafiti sets off across the desert to find it. Bristles insists on coming along. These two have nothing in common and plenty to argue about, which makes the journey feel very long indeed.
