Leo

Leo (2023) is a Netflix animated musical comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The hero is a jaded 74-year-old lizard named Leo, voiced by Adam Sandler, who has spent decades stuck in the same Florida classroom terrarium alongside his grumbling turtle roommate.

When Leo learns he has only one year left to live, he hatches a plan to bust out and finally see the world. The escape never quite happens. Instead he gets pulled into the worries of a fresh class of anxious fifth-graders, who are also dealing with a startlingly mean substitute teacher. Bill Burr voices the turtle, with Cecily Strong, Jason Alexander and Sandler's daughters Sadie and Sunny rounding out the vocal cast.

It carries that loose, slightly mischievous Sandler humor, dialed down for the whole family, and the songs swing from goofy to surprisingly honest about growing up and feeling alone.
