Exhuma

Exhuma (2024) is a Korean occult horror you can watch online on iFILM. A wealthy Korean-American family in Los Angeles is being tormented by the spirit of a furious ancestor, so they hire a crew of two shamans, a feng shui geomancer, and a veteran undertaker to break the curse.

The fix sounds simple: dig up the great-grandfather's grave high in the mountains and cremate the coffin without ever opening it. It does not stay simple. A greedy worker, chasing rumors of buried treasure, pries the lid open and frees something that was buried for a reason. Choi Min-sik as the seasoned geomancer and Kim Go-eun as a young shaman drag the tension from quiet unease into full-blown dread.

Director Jang Jae-hyun builds the film on Korean burial custom, the gut shamanic ritual, and an old colonial wound — which is why the back half pivots hard into something stranger.
