Hellraiser

Hellraiser (1987) is a horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM — written and directed by Clive Barker, who adapted his own novella "The Hellbound Heart." Shot in England on a shoestring budget of one million dollars, it went on to earn fourteen times that at the box office.

Frank buys an ornate puzzle box at an Eastern market. Solving it doesn't grant pleasure — it summons the Cenobites, beings who have erased the line between ecstasy and agony. Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) later discovers the box works both ways, and that deal-making with its keepers comes at a steep price. Clare Higgins plays the coldly calculating Julia, while Doug Bradley's Lead Cenobite — pins through flesh, voice like gravel — became one of horror's most recognisable figures.
