Synopsis

Tekken (2010) is a sci-fi action film from director Dwight H. Little, adapted from Namco's hit fighting game and available to watch online on iFILM. Set in a war-ruined future where corporations have replaced governments, the story turns on the Iron Fist tournament — a no-holds-barred fighting contest staged to keep a desperate population entertained.

Jin Kazama, a young man from the Anvil slums, doesn't enter the arena for glory. After corporate soldiers kill his mother, he fights his way into the bracket to reach the people who gave the order. Waiting for him are the planet's deadliest fighters and, behind the scenes, the buried secrets of the Mishima family that reveal who he really is.

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa plays the ruthless patriarch Heihachi Mishima, with Ian Anthony Dale, Luke Goss and martial artist Cung Le rounding out the roster. This is a straight-ahead picture aimed at viewers who came for hand-to-hand brawls and familiar character names rather than a deep plot. Stream Tekken (2010) online on iFILM.
