We Are Still Here

We Are Still Here (2015) is a horror film you can watch online on iFILM. A grieving couple moves to a remote, snowbound New England village and settles into a house that wakes every thirty years and demands the dead.

Anne and Paul Sacchetti (Barbara Crampton and Andrew Sensenig) head north to escape the loss of their son, into frozen silence. Anne senses the boy's spirit nearby and the couple invites a pair of New Age friends to help reach him. But whatever lives in the cellar has nothing to do with their child: the charred remains of an earlier family stir inside the walls, and the locals already know exactly how this ends. The blood, when it comes, pours in thick, old-school style.

Ted Geoghegan's directing debut is a love letter to 1970s Italian horror and the legacy of Lucio Fulci. Indie-horror icon Larry Fessenden turns up in a small role.
