Synopsis
The Kitchen (2019) is a crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. It's 1978 in New York, and when the FBI locks up three Irish mob enforcers, their wives are left in Hell's Kitchen with no income and no one watching their backs.
Kathy, Ruby and Claire decide they're done waiting for handouts from their husbands' crew. They take over the rackets themselves — collecting protection money, carving up turf, and having very direct conversations with anyone who won't pay. Turns out the three of them are frighteningly good at it. Power tastes sweet, but the bill comes due in blood. Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss play three women who suddenly have nothing left to lose.
Screenwriter Andrea Berloff directs for the first time here, adapting the Vertigo comic by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle.
