The Double

The Double (2011) is a Cold War spy thriller you can watch online on iFILM. When a US senator is killed in the unmistakable style of a legendary Soviet assassin code-named Cassius, retired CIA operative Paul Shepherdson is pulled back in to find the killer.

Shepherdson spent his whole career hunting Cassius and is certain the man died years ago. He's paired with Ben Geary, a young FBI agent who wrote his thesis on that very chase and believes the assassin has resurfaced. The further the two dig, the harder it gets to tell who's lying to whom. The script saves its biggest turn for late in the film, so we'll leave that unspoiled.
