Synopsis
Asterix vs. Caesar (Astérix et la Surprise de César, 1985) is a French animated adventure comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by brothers Paul and Gaëtan Brizzi, it draws on the beloved comics of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.
Obelix loses his heart to the lovely Falbala, only to discover she already has eyes for the dashing Tragicomix. He barely has time to sulk before Roman soldiers snatch both lovers and ship them off to Africa, planning to throw them to the arena on Caesar's birthday. The Gauls aren't the type to wait around. Asterix and Obelix set off across the world to free them, tangling with slave traders, gladiators and an endless tide of Roman paperwork on the way.
