Korean director Lee Seung-moo shot almost the entire film on digital sets, giving it the look of a living woodblock print one moment and a comic-book panel the next. The cast pairs Jang Dong-gun's Hollywood debut with Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush and Danny Huston. This one isn't chasing depth — it's a pure visual ride of flying ninja and gunfights, made for viewers who enjoy gorgeous genre mash-ups without overthinking it.
