The Quick and the Dead

The Quick and the Dead (1995) is Sam Raimi's western, free to watch online on iFILM. A silent gunslinger named Ellen (Sharon Stone) rides into the dusty town of Redemption with one goal: to enter a quick-draw tournament where losing means dying.

The town belongs to John Herod, a former outlaw turned tyrant (Gene Hackman). Once a year he hosts a single-elimination duel down the main street, one shootout per day, one fresh grave to match. The field includes Cort, a reformed gunman turned preacher whom Herod drags back into the killing (Russell Crowe), and a cocky teenager calling himself the Kid (Leonardo DiCaprio). Ellen, though, has an old score to settle with the man running it all.
