Snow White and the Huntsman

Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) is a dark fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Rupert Sanders turns the old fairy tale into a war story, where the prize isn't a kiss but a beating heart.

Having seized the throne by deceit, Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) keeps herself young through black magic. Then her mirror names someone fairer: her stepdaughter Snow White, played by Kristen Stewart. The girl breaks out of her tower and flees into the Dark Forest, so Ravenna hires a grief-soaked, hard-drinking Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) to drag her back. He switches sides instead. From there it's dwarves, enchanted woods and Prince William, played by Sam Claflin, raising an army against the usurper.

This is not the Disney version. No songs here, just armor, mud and open battle. Colleen Atwood's costumes earned the film an Academy Award nomination, and Ravenna's milk baths and shattering mirrors became its signature images.
