Synopsis

From Russia with Love (1963) is Terence Young's spy thriller, and you can watch it online on iFILM. It's the second James Bond film, with Sean Connery back as Agent 007.

Bond heads to Istanbul to grab a Soviet cipher machine called the Lektor, along with the clerk who offers it up: Tatiana Romanova (Daniela Bianchi), apparently ready to defect for him. He smells the trap and walks in anyway. The real puppet master isn't Moscow but the crime syndicate SPECTRE. Ex-KGB officer Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya) and chess strategist Kronsteen have plotted every move, while assassin Red Grant (Robert Shaw) shadows the agent toward a showdown aboard the Orient Express.

The story comes from Ian Fleming's 1957 novel, reportedly a favorite of President Kennedy. This entry hands Bond his first gadgets from Q, and the cramped fistfight with Grant on the train still ranks among the best hand-to-hand scenes ever filmed.
