Hunter Jaguar Paw loses everything in a single dawn raid. Warriors led by Zero Wolf (Raoul Max Trujillo) burn his settlement and march the survivors three days through dense jungle toward a distant city's stone altars. His pregnant wife is hidden in a pit — alive, but the water is rising. Jaguar Paw (Rudy Youngblood) breaks free from the procession just before the blade falls, and the rest of the film is a raw sprint through rainforest, rivers, and traps set by men who know the terrain far better than he does.
