Synopsis
Cold Skin (2017) is Xavier Gens' fantasy horror film, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A young weather official steps ashore on a tiny island at the edge of the Atlantic, signed on for a year of recording the weather. No one comes down to greet him.
His only neighbor is Gruner, a surly lighthouse keeper barricaded in a stone tower with secrets he won't share. The first night spells out why: humanoid creatures crawl out of the black water, and every nightfall becomes a siege. David Oakes plays the newcomer, Ray Stevenson the half-feral hermit, and Aura Garrido a being who blurs the line between us and them. All of it unfolds against World War I, until the fight over one lighthouse starts to mirror the slaughter back on the mainland.
