Under Suspicion

Under Suspicion (2000) is a crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Stephen Hopkins. Wealthy attorney Henry Hearst stops by a San Juan police station to tidy up a few details in his witness statement — and ends up trapped there all night.

"This will only take ten minutes," promises Captain Victor Benezet. Those ten minutes stretch into a relentless interrogation, as the police drift from treating Hearst as a witness in a girl's murder to treating him as the suspect. Most of the film is two actors going at each other inside one room. Gene Hackman against Morgan Freeman, accuser and accused, every pause loaded, while a carnival roars in the streets outside. Thomas Jane and Monica Bellucci fill out the cast.
