A squad of Mobile Infantry holes up in a derelict desert outpost after a brutal bug fight. Comms are dead, ammo is short, Arachnids swarm the perimeter. Then comes the worse problem: the real threat is already inside the walls. The enemy has learned to crawl into human hosts, and nobody knows which trooper is still human. Where the first film went big with space battles, this one goes small, dark and paranoid.

It marks the directing debut of Phil Tippett, the legendary effects artist behind creature animation on Star Wars and the original Troopers.
