Synopsis
The Curse of Bridge Hollow (2022) is a family horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jeff Wadlow. Teenage Sydney gets dragged from Brooklyn to a small town that treats Halloween like a national holiday.
Her dad Howard, played by Marlon Wayans, trusts science and rolls his eyes at every jack-o'-lantern in sight. Big mistake. Sydney, played by Priah Ferguson, lights an old lantern she finds in the attic and frees the spirit of Stingy Jack, who brings every decoration in Bridge Hollow to life. Zombies, giant spiders, axe-wielding clowns and an inflatable cat flood the streets, and the science-loving skeptic has to save the town alongside the daughter he barely listened to.
Wayans carries the whole thing as a know-it-all who keeps getting proven wrong, backed by Kelly Rowland, Rob Riggle and Nia Vardalos. It's a loud, gooey ride built for a Halloween movie night with kids in the room: more silly than scary, with just enough slime to earn its title.
