Synopsis
Kick-Ass 2 (2013) — watch online on iFILM — is an action sequel directed by Jeff Wadlow, based on Mark Millar's comic series. Dave Lizewski's example from the first film has spawned a wave of real-life masked vigilantes, and now Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Kick-Ass joins Justice Forever, a ragtag patrol led by the unhinged Colonel Stars and Stripes, played by Jim Carrey.
Meanwhile Mindy Macready, played by Chloe Grace Moretz, is ordered to hang up the Hit-Girl suit and try being a normal high-school student — which goes about as well as expected. On the other side, Christopher Mintz-Plasse's Chris D'Amico reinvents himself as the first real supervillain, assembles a crew, and targets everyone connected to the death of his father. The film splits its time between Mindy navigating teenage social warfare and Dave scrambling to hold his team together before the villain's strike lands.
