Synopsis

Hubie Dubois is Salem, Massachusetts's self-appointed Halloween safety monitor. Every October 31st he patrols the streets with a thermos full of soup and a heart full of anxiety. The locals torment him for sport. This year, though, something actually goes wrong: a patient escapes from the local psychiatric facility, and neighbors start vanishing. Hubie — frightened of everything, trusted by nobody — is suddenly the only one trying to stop it. Kevin James, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Maya Rudolph, and a Ben Stiller cameo fill out the cast.
