Prom

Prom (2011) is Disney's teen romantic comedy, ready to watch online on iFILM. With three weeks left before the big high-school dance, a dozen seniors watch their plans unravel, each one hauling a small private drama into the gym.

Straight-A student Nova (Aimee Teegarden) is in charge of decorations until a fire wipes out months of work, leaving her stuck with Jesse (Thomas McDonell), the motorcycle-riding outsider nobody trusts. You can guess where the bickering goes. Around that center the movie threads other stories: secret couples, ruined invitations, friendships fraying at the worst moment, and kids too scared to ask the person they actually like. Dean Norris shows up as a dad who is not thrilled about his daughter's date.

This is clean, gentle, PG-rated stuff, no edge and a warm, predictable finish. Cameron Monaghan and Danielle Campbell pop up here well before their bigger roles.
