Little Manhattan

Little Manhattan (2005) is a family romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Mark Levin. Ten-year-old Gabe falls in love for the very first time, and it happens in the least likely spot — his karate class.

Gabe has known Rosemary around school for ages, back when she was just another girl. Then they're paired up for sparring, and everything tilts. Now an ordinary New York kid has to figure out what to do with a feeling far too big for him, right as Rosemary announces she's leaving public school for good. A young Josh Hutcherson plays Gabe, years before The Hunger Games, with Bradley Whitford and Cynthia Nixon as his parents.

The film takes a kid's crush completely seriously, narrated by Gabe himself with all the nerves of a real first romance. Manhattan is shot warmly, almost as another character in the story.
