Most of the film is Halle Berry alone behind the wheel, all fear and grit and refusal to ease off the gas.

Ninety-six minutes with barely a breather and almost no dialogue, the whole thing riding on Berry's face. This isn't a twisty mystery; it's a stripped-down chase that works precisely because it never gets distracted. Good for anyone who wants a mean, single-sitting thriller.
