An American Tail: Fievel Goes West

An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (1991) is an animated family Western you can watch online on iFILM. Immigrant mouse Fievel Mousekewitz and his family are still dodging cats in New York, so when word spreads of a frontier town where mice and cats supposedly live in harmony, they pack up and head out West.

The mouse selling that dream is Cat R. Waul, a smooth-talking feline whose real plan is to turn trusting settler mice into the filling for hamburgers. To stop him, Fievel recruits Wylie Burp, a washed-up old sheriff dog who has long since lost his bite. John Cleese voices the oily villain, while screen legend James Stewart gives Burp his gravel in what turned out to be Stewart's final film role.

A sequel to the 1986 hit, this one was produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblin and marked the directing debut of Simon Wells, great-grandson of author H.G. Wells. James Horner returns to score it.
