Castle Rock (Seasons 1–2)

Castle Rock (2018) is a psychological horror series set in Stephen King's universe, and you can watch online on iFILM. It pulls characters, places and dread from dozens of King's books into one cursed Maine town.

On the surface Castle Rock is small-town America: quiet streets, deep woods, and the old Shawshank prison on the edge of it all. Underneath runs a long history of murders, vanishings and deaths nobody can explain. Attorney Henry Deaver (André Holland) comes back to the town where he once disappeared as a boy, drawn by a strange prisoner found caged in the prison's bowels — a near-silent young man played by Bill Skarsgård. The more Henry digs, the clearer it gets that the town itself chooses who stays and who pays old debts. The cast also features Sissy Spacek, Melanie Lynskey and Tim Robbins.

Produced by J.J. Abrams and Stephen King for Hulu, the show runs two ten-episode seasons as an anthology: each season stands alone but shares the same bleak mythology. It rewards viewers who prefer slow-burn horror built on mood over jump scares. Stream every season of Castle Rock online on iFILM.
