Synopsis
Mean Girls (2024) is a musical comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Cady Heron grew up homeschooled in Africa and lands in an ordinary American high school for the first time. The social pecking order turns out to be wilder than any savanna. At the top sit the Plastics.
Their queen is Regina George (Reneé Rapp), who rules the hallways with Gretchen and Karen at her heels. Cady (Angourie Rice) gets pulled into the inner circle, then ruins it by falling for Aaron, Regina's ex. With outcasts Janis and Damian she launches a careful campaign to bring the queen down, risking becoming the very thing she despised. Tina Fey wrote the script and plays teacher Ms. Norbery.
This version doesn't spring straight from the 2004 hit; it adapts the Broadway musical built on it, with songs, full dance numbers and a fresh cast.
